Some products are pharmaceutical-grade, dosed correctly, and third-party verified. Others are cutting corners and counting on the fact that most buyers won’t ask the right questions.

Quick answer: Three things separate a quality paraxanthine product from filler: a real 200mg clinical dose (not 100mg with an asterisk), a Certificate of Analysis confirming at least 98% purity plus heavy-metal and contaminant screening, and third-party testing on the finished product. Branded vs generic does not matter at equal purity — the documentation does.

A real paraxanthine COA shows:

Third-Party Testing Standards

The major standards to look for:

None of these are required by law. All of them are voluntary. A brand that pays for third-party testing is signaling they’re willing to be held to a higher standard than the regulatory minimum. The takeaway: if a brand uses a branded form, that’s fine — it tells you something about their supplier relationship. If a brand uses a pharmaceutical-grade generic with a COA on file, that’s also fine — it tells you they’ve prioritized verification over branding markup. Red Flags to Walk Away From

If you see any of these on a paraxanthine product, ask harder questions or move on:

      Proprietary blends that hide individual doses. “Energy matrix” or “focus complex” with a single combined milligram number means you have no idea how much paraxanthine is actually in there. The clinically studied dose is 200mg. If you can’t verify you’re getting it, you’re not.

      No COA available on request. Any legitimate brand can produce a COA for the lot you bought. Refusal or “we don’t share that” means walk.
